Strong Quads
Quads, aka. quadriceps, are made up of four muscles at the front of your thighs. These muscles are used in almost everything you do involving your legs. They help you stand from a seated position, walk, run, jump, and more.
Benefits of Stronger Quads
- run faster
- stabilize your knee better
- make everyday tasks involving your legs easier
- reduce your risk of some knee injuries
- could help with avoiding knee arthritis later in life
- improves balance
- some might even say it gives a sexier appearance
Ultimate Quad Workout
When conditioning your quads stick with this one rule of thumb, which can be applied to the conditioning of many parts of the body, perform the exercises that require the most balance and skill first. Move onto the less complex exercises after. Complete ones such as the Bulgarian split first before you're tired and lack as much control, then move onto exercises like goblet squats which are done with two feet firmly planted on the ground and minimal complex movement.
Below is our quad-centric workout guaranteed to blast your thighs and build power and strength in your quads.
